Our biologist recently completed a fish composition study for the Weck family in Marengo, Illinois. The shoreline and open water area were electrofished on August 6, 2019. The study yielded a total of 97 individual fish representing 2 families and 3 species. The catch was dominated by Bluegill (77%) and Largemouth Bass (22%).
A number of recommendations were made in the study with the goal of improving the health and diversity of the fish population.
