Deuchler Engineering Corporation has been actively monitoring the latest developments from local, state, and federal authorities regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus. In response to the rapidly evolving situation and based on guidance from various government agencies we have enacted the following as the best course of action for our employees at this time to help minimize risk.

 

To protect our employees, their families, and our clients, effective March 19, 2020, those of our staff that can have been instructed to work remotely but will continue to be available via email, phone, or text. We are using the latest communications and cloud technology to be able to support our staff and our clients without significant disruption. Field personnel will continue to perform necessary duties required by our clients as permitted. Our office will remain open and operational with limited staffing levels with some employees working different shifts to maintain recommended social distancing guidelines.  As this situation continues to evolve, we may alter our processes accordingly. 

 

Additionally, our staff have been instructed to stay home if they become ill or are caring for sick family members or children, to seek medical attention as needed, and to inform us immediately if they or a family member are diagnosed with COVID-19. They have also been encouraged to utilize the latest updates from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for interactions with family and others.
